The human body has inspired artists throughout the ages, traditionally the body was often used to explore allegory, beauty and sexuality but in the twentieth century there was a significant shift in both how the body was perceived, and how it was used to create art.
The traditional representation of the body within art has been firmly within the grasp of cultural and social ideals.
The Old Post Office Art Gallery is the place for artist to show their representation and interpretation of that celebration.
It is open to painters (and all techniques), digital artists, and photographers to have the opportunity to showcase their art.
The Gallery is open to public when there is no activity in the hall.
